This policy explains what information Calculators House ("we") collects when you use Calculators House.
Calculator inputs
Calculations run entirely in your browser. The values you type into a calculator aren't sent to us, logged or stored on our servers. If you use Share, your inputs are placed in the link you share. Anyone with that link can see them.
Information stored on your device
- Recently used calculators: a list of calculator names kept in your browser's local storage so the homepage can show them. You can clear it from the homepage or your browser settings.
- Theme preference: whether you chose light or dark mode.
We don't set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Analytics
If enabled, we use privacy-focused, cookieless analytics to count page views and anonymous events, such as a calculation being completed or a result being copied. These events record which calculator was used, never the values you entered. Search terms that return no results may be recorded anonymously to help us decide which calculators to build.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard request logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL, time) for security and reliability. These logs are kept for a limited period. [TODO: state the retention period set by your host.]
If you email us, we use your address and message only to reply and to track corrections. We don't add you to mailing lists.
Your rights
